Fall is my very favorite season—and not just for football! The girls love it too. There’s the candy, of course, and dressing up. But they love the decorations, trips to the pumpkin patch & Halloween-themed clothing. My youngest is actually having a Halloween party for her early-November birthday. Earlier this week, we pulled the fall decorations out of storage. It is my plan to sort through them, pare down a bit and start decorating for Halloween.

One of the girls’ favorite decorations are the pumpkins—carved, painted or bedazzled, they love to have them on the porch and around the house. But carving is so much work! Enter craft pumpkins, which you can store year after year to show off your mad pumpkin carving skills. I have a white craft pumpkin set aside for some intricate Colts carvings—I want to put a string of blue lights in them to really finish it off. This will be a Halloween decoration I’m pretty sure I can justify keeping around awhile!

Earlier this week, I passed several kids walking to their school bus wearing Colts jerseys. It is homecoming week around here so I think it must have been a spirit day—it wasn’t game day and Blue Friday is tomorrow! Here are 3 fun ways to show Colts spirit every day at school:

With just 2 weeks left in school, the whole family is counting down to summertime! The Ultimate Indy Couch

My office is a couch. That’s right, a couch. I work in my little corner of the living room, with ~~ESPNews~~ Disney channel on in the background. I love my couch—it’s soft, cozy and has this awesome semi-reclining corner for when I need to take a ~~nap~~ break. But, someday, when I have a basement or a den?

I’m getting this couch!

I keep trying to talk my parents into buying one. Afterall, they’re the ones with the Colts living room. (Yes. Seriously.) She has a Colts lamp, Colts curtains, a Colts clock, Colts accessories and Colts wall hangings. But this couch? “Would be too much.”

It’s less than $1000—and ships for only $14.95! Also? It’s made purely of awesome. Plus, when you get tired of the whole bleed blue theme in the off season, you’ll give it to me for my basement!

Yes, I realize a Snuggie is just a backwards robe but they are warm and snuggly. We actually own three—my sister bought one for each of our girls at Christmas. They use them a lot for cuddling on the couch to watch movies. In fact, 2 of this week’s Project 365 photos feature one of my girls with their snuggie.
