When our girls were toddlers, before they could speak, we taught them the touchdown sign. We’d yell, “Touchdown!” and their little arms went straight up in the air. It became a fabulous party trick—everyone wanted to try it out. However, we clearly could have done so much more! It somehow never occurred to me to create flashcards so they could learn the entire Colts roster.
